Nestled in a charming Grade II–listed building in leafy Harrow, our flagship nursery welcomes up to 138 children into a bright, nurturing environment. We pride ourselves on offering top-tier facilities—from two spacious outdoor playgrounds, a tranquil fish-pond and water fountain, and a hands-on plant-growing area, to our soft‑play zone, high‑quality rooms, and on‑site commercial kitchen.

What We Offer
For age from 3 months to 5 years
From 3 months to 5 years, we welcome babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers—each cared for in rooms tailored to their developmental needs.
Opening from 07:30 to 18:00 Mon - Fri
Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am–6:00 pm, with flexible, full‑day care to suit busy family routines.
51 Weeks year-round care
We operate stretched, full‑time care 51 weeks a year (closing for just one week over Christmas), accept government‑funded places (15/30 hours), and also offer a limited number of term‑time–only spaces for families who prefer care aligned with school terms.
Freshly cooked healthy meals
Our on-site chef serves fresh, balanced meals and snacks daily, guided by the UK Early Years Foundation Stage nutrition standards—covering all four food groups, minimising sugar, salt, and saturated fats, and encouraging positive mealtime habits.
Story-Based Learning
At Little Lionhearts, every learning journey begins with a story. We plan our activities around engaging tales that spark curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Through storytelling, dress-up, and even child-authored stories, learning becomes fun and meaningful. Our unique Story Gems—from Growing Story Lover to Creative Story Teller—help children build language, confidence, and a lifelong love for reading, all while following the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our Soft Play Room is a fun, safe space designed to support physical development and active play. With soft surfaces, climbing blocks, and cosy corners, children can explore, build confidence, and burn energy in a joyful, secure environment.
Fees & Funding
We are committed to making high-quality early education accessible to families. Eligible parents can benefit from 15 or 30 hours of government-funded childcare and may also use Tax-Free Childcare to support their fees. Our team is always happy to explain how funding works and how it can be applied to your child’s place at Little Lionhearts.

Hello! My name is Shivani, I am the Nursery Manager at Little Lionhearts Nursery School. I hold a BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies alongside having 11 years of childcare experience. I believe childcare is a crucial part of any child’s life and it should be filled with beautiful memories that they can cherish. I enjoy providing those awe and wonders of the world to the children through creative and innovative learning experiences. However, I would not be able to make a difference in your child/children’s lives without you.
