To help bridge the gap between nursery and home, we’ve introduced Parent Support Bags — a practical and engaging way to help families continue supporting communication development at home.
Each bag focuses on a specific area of learning and includes simple, fun, and effective tools that mirror the strategies we use within the nursery. This consistency helps children feel secure and reinforces the skills they are building every day.

🧩 “What’s in the Box?”
Designed for children who find attention and listening challenging, this activity encourages curiosity and focus. Children listen carefully to clues, predict what might be inside, and take turns exploring — developing essential early listening and concentration skills.
🗣️ “Word Box”
The Word Box helps children build their vocabulary and confidence in communication. Each box includes familiar objects, picture cards, and activities that encourage naming, describing, and storytelling — making language learning exciting, interactive, and meaningful.
By sharing these tools with parents, we create a consistent and supportive learning environment between home and nursery — helping children make steady progress in a familiar and reassuring way.
